Patty Hendrickson is a booked and busy emcee and professional speaker from La Crosse, WI. She works with organizations that want to grow leaders and with people who want more out of life. Since 1987 she has presented to more than a million people.
Patty makes a fantastic emcee because she is a “conference addict” – attending as many sessions as possible capturing great ideas and feeling the energy of people engaging. Her list of emcee responsibilities includes many associations, corporations and THE National Speakers Association. In 2000 she earned the highest earned designation of Certified Speaking Professional from the National Speakers Association.
With a Masters of Business Administration and decades of working with clients of all shapes and sizes with many business and membership models, Patty brings a unique perspective to weave together the fabric of a conference. Her focus is to help everyone feel and celebrate the investment of time and energy at the event AND help attendees kick their new ideas into action.
Patty is a seasoned association leader, professional speaker and author. Her many titles include — entrepreneur, wife, mother, leader, advisor, mentor, coach, philanthropist and sports “fan”atic.
Patty has two simple mantras for all events –
“None of us are as smart as all of us” and “Everyone knows something I don’t”

Learn from Dr. Gladney about the techniques and strategies to help you achieve personal wellness, find better balance, alleviate stress, and attain emotional health both personally and within your organizations.

Each year, CalSAE recognizes three dedicated members for their exceptional service to the association community. Join us at the opening session to pay tribute to this year’s award recipients in the following categories:
- Association Executive of the Year Award: Presented to the CEO of a member association, not-for-profit, AMC, or CVB who has achieved success in overall contributions to CalSAE, service to professional, civic, or charitable organizations, and achievements for their employing organization.
- Geri Hayes McDonald Staff Achievement Award: Presented to a staff member of an association, charitable organization, or AMC who has achieved success in overall contributions to CalSAE, service to professional, civic, or charitable organizations, and achievements for their employing organization.
- Industry Partner of the Year Award: Presented to an Industry Partner member who has achieved success in overall contributions to CalSAE, service to professional, civic, or charitable organizations, and achievements for their employing organization.
